Verona Community Center

I looked up the meaning of community the other day out of curiosity.  Two of the meanings I found were “A community is a group of people coming together because of a common goal or interest.”   Another one was : A community is a place where you are accepted into the fold regardless of your beliefs and opinions, just like a family.”   To me our community means both of these things.  We have proven over and over again that our community is caring. We have held benefits for people in need, we have banned together for a common cause.  We hope we can continue to do this so our community does not die as so many others do because of no school or whatever.  There are still members of the community that care about each other and know what they want for their community.  So let’s not forget about our community.  We believe saving the school for our community would help that cause. It is such a nice place for our community to get together if for no other reason than to catch up on each others lives.  It is also a part of our heritage.  Many of us graduated from that school as well as our children.  We can only hope that everyone feels the same way about what we are doing.  So if you can help in any way, please help us make this a reality.
